Hannah Zizza is a Seattle-based visual artist working primarily in the mediums of painting and collage. Rooted in her own perspective as a queer woman, her work deals with ideas around gender and sexuality, making use of surrealism and dark humor as a means of social commentary. Like a warped mirror, her art offers a distorted reflection of the world, highlighting the absurdity of norms and practices that all too often go unquestioned in the course of our daily lives.
