Hannah Zizza is a Seattle-based figurative artist working primarily in the mediums of painting and collage. Combining a passion for the natural world with her own experiences and perspective as a queer woman, her work makes use of the traditions of storytelling and fantasy, combining human and animal figures in surrealist scenes as a means of addressing cultural perceptions around gender and sexuality in intersection with other topics including environmentalism and animal rights.
